A natural mineral composed of primarily of the minerals albite, microcline, and nepheline. Contains no crystalline quartz. Is inert and very hard. Exhibits a high degree of whiteness, high chemical resistance and outstanding transparency. Used in plastic films, special coatings and titanium dioxide substitution.
